This site has been established by the Department of Transport to provide information on sustainable travel and transport. It sets out a new Government policy framework Smarter Travel - A Sustainable Transport Future. This represents a new transport policy for Ireland for the period from 2009 - 2020. It also sets out details of the public consultation that informed the new policy.
